In July 2007, the first community mosaic mural in Fredericksburg, VA was unveiled – a creative vision of Suzanne's, and a multicultural celebration of unity through diversity.
A LOVE STORY-IN THE FACE OF HATE
Though she planned only to show this homemade video to friends, to help them understand why Barbara & Tibby had to leave Virgina, Moe’s documentary—and the powerful story it tells—has taken on a life of its own. It has been broadcast on public access television stations and screened and discussed throughout the country in venues ranging from house parties to college and university classrooms, independent film theaters, and at various political, community and faith-based events.

Piece created in collaboration with Sybille Scott. MRI brainscans and chemo-related hair loss are used as elements to transform pain into beauty.
